PLeather handbags-Are not leather, you paid for the “P” not “Leather”Is just a complete plastic! Leathers like vegan can be really tricky because most of them are made of good qualities synthetic materials like the Mushroom Leather- You get materials that are pretty resistant materials, cheap once easily melt when they are close to fire.

Coated Canvas-Is extremely durable over time, if you have the money~Go for it! Is a good investment, it feels differently.

To know if a bag is nicely sewn: Just look inside at the lining. If the fabric is not laying flat, the stitching is too close to the edge especially in high wear areas like the straps, outside edges and the base of the bag. Designers cut and paint edges to save costs: cutting/painting requires less leather, time and skill. These are indications of bad quality handbags.

Nicely  sewn: N/B quality handbags will have smaller stitches and more stitches per inch The fabric will be flat and the stitching is nicely aligned and with kermes Purse is hand done and that’s why we pay that much lol! 

You can as well spot poor quality handbag by Looking inside the bag ,see how the lining is sewn or attached at the bottom, some of them are not even attached, you can be easily remove them.

Good lining: Must be properly attached, that way is easier to see the things in your bag and is not removable which is better quality. 

Materials

Not every good looking bags are of materials e.g Plastic handbags are very cheap and easy to clean or care for but if you mistakenly get greasy stain, it wont come off and the stitches on it are very weak because the holes on the needle will expand with time, due to the weight of the handbag when is full. fabric-Is not good enough for a handbag, it gets dirty easily, keeps you cleaning your handbags all the time because it gets stain quickly and not very resistant over time.

Hardware

This is where you see the overall quality of a handbag, if is brass : Is not good enough, look at the color, you can tell a cheap hardware,you can see the difference.

 

Good hardware: When there is elements molded on a bag, a particular or specific shape and also check their supporting feet which helps to protect the corners from hard surfaces and also elements molded on them, don’t forget the zipper~ Make sure is sewn to the bag neatly. These indicates quality. 

Finishing 

Check the strap, finishing, handles and edge pants :These are not out of it at all, look at these elements carefully, see if the handle is tightly sewn because with cheap handbag the handbag will be clearly loose.

Look at the logo make sure it will hold firm,

Check the color properly to know if it will scratch off or peel off. If they are pressed into the leather they last longer and you can see it on many designers handbags Check carefully.
