Are you one of those people who never clean their brushes ?think about all the old make-up and bacteria that builds up in your brush and then you go rubbing it on your face.
*To avoid
-rough brushes
-Skin irritations
I have sensitive skin and I greatly benefit from keeping my foundation brushes clean at all times.
I clean my foundation powder brush after every use to assure I’m taking the best care of my sensitive skin. I understand that is a big commitment, but once you get into a routine it will be easy.
Today, I’m going to share with you my homemade brush cleaner that I learned a while back and it works wonders and I will be trying another method using (Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner) If you interested to see the steps – watch the video above .
Homemade Brush Cleaner (Step 1)
Supplies
* Distilled White Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
* Dish soap-a table spoon of dish soap , you can use baby shampoo – 1 tablespoon
* Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
A cup of warm water
Tips on how to wash brushes:
Hold brush head down at an angle under LUKE WARM water when wetting . Do not use hot water, make it warm instead , higher temps can damage the tool. Sock it in the mixture for 20mins and rinse the brush thoroughly in lukewarm water until the water runs clear, then lay your brush flat to dry, do not stand them in a cup until they are dry.
Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner (Step 2)
Gently massage them with Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner. Build a good lather to loosen all the makeup and oil stuck inside the bristles. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry, very easy to use.
-Brushes should be washed regularly I recommend you wash your brushes at least once a week. If you suffer from regular breakouts, you might consider washing them after every use.
-regularly rinse reusable makeup sponges with antibacterial soap to keep them clean.
Thanks For Your Time.

I never tried the white vinegar before on my makeup brushes. Makes sense though. I already use it to clean many things in the house. Good tips.
